About Breakwater

Breakwater School is a non-profit, independent, co-educational day school serving approximately 125 students from toddler through eighth grade. Our school philosophy balances the best of the progressive movement with current research, innovation and proven traditional practices in a curriculum highly integrated among all subjects. Breakwater’s programs are housed in three separate buildings surrounded by large fields for outdoor play and supplemented by a 21 acre nature preserve.
