Breakwater School is an independent preschool, elementary, and middle school located in Portland, Maine.  Founded in 1956, Breakwater is private, non-denominational, and co-educational.  Breakwater School offers the following programs:

• Preschool (3 and 4 year-olds, Pre-K)
• Elementary School (Grades K-5)
• Middle School  (Grades 6-8)
• After-school (ages 3-4 and 5-14)
• Summer (ages 4 through 14)
• Community (all ages)
