The Annual Fund is a general fundraising appeal to all members of the Breakwater community including Parents, Grandparents, Special Friends, Alumni/ae, Faculty, Staff, and Board Members.
The Breakwater Annual Fund is our major annual fundraising initiative. Although tuition revenue covers most of our normal operating expenses, Breakwater relies on the generosity of the Breakwater community to enhance and enrich the programs that our students benefit from. The Annual Fund raises the money that gives our great teachers the means to make our curriculum even better. It enhances and enriches all aspects of the school including:
- Supporting investments in both classroom and administrative technology
- Providing performing arts and field trip opportunities
- Offering professional development opportunities for Faculty and Staff
- Support for our faculty's on-going Curriculum Development work
- Supplementing the student financial aid budget
- Adding new books and periodicals to our library
