At Breakwater, all applicants are considered equally and thoroughly. A willing partnership among families, staff, and students is at the foundation of our educational philosophy and is supported throughout the application process. We want to know our applicants, their families, and support networks and make sure that everyone has a clear understanding of the Breakwater approach to learning. Admissions decisions are determined by a combination of criteria and will be made in the best interests of the prospective student, his or her family, and the School. The application process begins in mid-October and continues throughout the spring. Breakwater School has three academic divisions, each with its own developmentally appropriate admissions process.
